It’s not enough to simply renovate your product and expect people to come. You must include marketing and sales. And, if you’re going to market, you better know what your outcome will be. It must be clear. Kentucky’s Next Great City is trademark of Downtown Campbellsville.

With the advent of new social media tools, downtown merchants are building better relationships and customer service. The popular tools in use include Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, Constant Contact, eVite, blogs, and web sites. “It’s extremely effective marketing”, said one merchant at the Uptown/Downtown meeting.
