The new year also brings a new decade. The decade 2010-2020 is all about revitalization in Campbellsville.
Renovations at the Bank of Campbellsville Building continue. This is number 2 for the building within the past year. This time, the first floor is being refinished as office space. Highlights of the renovation include exposing the original mosaic tile floors and new exposed brick. 3 hand painted mural were custom made to finish out the decor.
The streetscape renovation on Columbia Street (from Main Street to Broadway) is now complete. It includes new lighting, sidewalk-hardscapes, and landscaping. It’s also part of the larger renovation to Veterans War Memorial near Main Street.

Downtown Campbellsville Streetscape Project - Oct 2009
The exterior renovation of the Merle Norman building is complete. Special soda blasting techniques were used to aid refinishing of the historic iron work on the east side. The east side of the building was repainted. A new awning was installed.

The Bank of Campbellsville Building gets a 2nd story renovation to house a new apartment. The floorplan is a 2 bedroom, 1-bath, with gourmet kitchen. The interior walls are exposed historic brick.
The exterior was refinished and re-painted with period accurate colors.
Renovations begin on a 130 year old building in downtown Campbellsville on Main Street.
